More than 1200 staff members at the University of Derby have used our eLearning resources to undertake accessibility training at their own pace.
One participant shared: “I thought it was a brilliant course, in particular the case studies giving someone else’s view of how a something is a barrier for them and why, but also the alternatives we could do to support them.”

What will your colleagues learn?

Created just for Higher Education (HE) and Further Education (FE) institutions, this online eLearning course provides accessibility guidance to your staff on-demand, at a time convenient to their work schedules.

It includes collection of person-centred mini modules which introduce staff to accessibility requirements, zoning in on key considerations for a range of disabilities and conditions.

Designed for all staff, the mini modules serve not only to introduce concepts, but to act as an ongoing reference guide which can be amended should your staff disclose any additional difficulties or barriers you wish to address.

Containing lived-experience stories, the mini modules cover broad impairment categories and highlight the considerations for teaching and learning and the impact that even small changes make.
