Ambassador Profile: Nicky Rumsey

Nicky Rumsey is a Vice President at Kyndryl, leading global go-to-market transformation programmes. With over 30 years in the IT (information technology) industry, she has held senior, customer-facing roles, including Managing Partner for some of the company’s largest and most strategic accounts.

Before joining Kyndryl, Nicky spent many years at IBM, where her work with AbilityNet inspired a deep and lasting commitment. She served as a Trustee for nine years - first representing IBM and later as an independent Trustee - championing the critical importance of accessibility.

A strong advocate for inclusion, Nicky also led Diversity and Inclusion initiatives within IBM, driving reverse mentoring programmes and promoting a deeper understanding of how diverse abilities strengthen workplaces.

As an ambassador for AbilityNet, she leverages her network to raise awareness, amplify impact, and advance the accessibility agenda.

Outside of work, Nicky is a keen triathlete and enjoys both snow skiing and waterskiing.
