Working with neurodiversity: is the new normal here to stay?

Part of AbilityNet Live!

The global pandemic forced many of us to work from home. For many, it was a welcome reprieve from long commutes and busy offices.

However, for those with neurodiverse needs, the transition can bring additional challenges notably adjusting to the cognitive load of endless Zoom meetings. It's important employers make reasonable adjustments to support people with neurodiversity at home as well as in the workplace.

As we return to a so-called 'new normal' what has the pandemic taught us about working patterns? Are there lessons that we've learned we should sustain beyond lockdown?
