Join our free lunchtime learning online session, Simple tech tips for hearing loss, with our expert Usability and Accessibility Consultant, Beck Lambourne, who will highlight digital adjustments that can aid with hearing loss. 

Plus AbilityNet's Head of Finance, Fiona Watson, will share her experience of being deaf and how the digital devices and apps she uses can help you too. 

Aimed at older people and some of the issues they may commonly face, in the webinar we'll highlight a variety of hearing loss-related tools and techniques that can make a difference, including:

  • Sensory alerts
  • Free built-in options on digital devices (Apple and Android)
  • Subtitled cinema
  • BSL interpretation

Beck is a Usability and Accessibility Consultant and registered Occupational therapist, who specialises in providing accessibility guidance to individuals and organisations. Beck has a detailed understanding of assistive technology and user research, and is a driving force behind AbilityNet's mission to create a more accessible and equitable world for all.
