Darren Fox-Hall rewarded for his dedication to supporting people in need

Darren Fox-Hall is the latest volunteer from our 500+ network of amazing Tech Volunteers around the country to receive a Room to Reward short hotel break, in recognition of his dedicated support of AbilityNet and its clients over the past few years.

Upon learning of his reward, Lincolnshire and Cambridgeshire Area Coordinator, Darren, said:

"For the first time in a long while, I’m genuinely speechless! Thank you so much for this – it was completely unexpected.

I absolutely love what I do with AbilityNet, and one of the reasons I’m looking forward to retirement is that it will allow me to dedicate even more of my time to the charity. I’m incredibly passionate about the work we do and the difference it makes to people’s lives. Seeing how technology can help people become more independent, connected and confident is something that never stops inspiring me.

As I often say in my presentations to other organisations, I’m completely useless at DIY, gardening, and most practical jobs around the house! However, being able to use my skills, experience and knowledge of technology to give something back to others is a privilege and a real passion of mine. It’s incredibly rewarding to know that something I take for granted can have such a positive impact on someone else’s life.
