AbilityNet is a Tech Talent Charter signatory

We're pleased to announce AbilityNet is on the Tech Talent Charter (TTC) for our efforts driving inclusion and diversity in the workplace. This follows the news earlier this year about AbilityNet becoming a Disability Confident Leader, in the top tier of the government lead scheme.

The TTC was founded by a number of organisations across the recruitment, technology and social enterprise fields and has been supported by UK Digital Strategy since 2017. The TTC is bringing together industries and organisations to drive greater inclusion and diversity in technology roles, and is for organisations of all sizes, from start-ups to multinationals, spanning all industry sectors.

Speaking about the importance of being a charter signatory, Mairéad Comerford, AbilityNet's Head of HR, said "I'm delighted that we've successfully joined the Tech Talent Charter and will be able to contribute to conversations and research that drives greater diversity and inclusion in technology roles. Our vision is a digital world accessible to all, and we have always sought to draw from a diverse pool of talent and maintain an inclusive working environment."

Most recently we contributed to the TTC's Annual Diversity in Tech Report. The purpose of the report is to provide a unique lens on diversity and inclusion in technology in the UK, and it enables us to benchmark our progress against other contributors and understand what they are doing to drive progress. You can download last year's Diversity in Tech Report as a PDF from the TTC website along with information about how to join the Tech Talent Charter.

We are always keen to hear from people that share our vision of a digital world accessible to all. You can view our current opportunities on our website and to be kept up-to-date with the latest news from AbilityNet join our mailing list.
