Tech Volunteer
Are you looking for a great way to support your community and use your digital skills to help AbilityNet?
Join our network of 450+ volunteers across the UK!
Many older people and disabled people experience difficulties with their technology - our wonderful volunteers provide one-to-one IT and technology support remotely and through home visits.
People who contact us for support with their devices often need a trustworthy person to offer independent advice and guidance.
AbilityNet Tech volunteers use their digital or IT skills to help them in all sorts of ways - from showing how to shop online to setting up an email account, from helping an older person with their general computer usage to assisting with special hardware and software adaptations that would meet a disabled person's specific needs.
Many of our volunteers have even gone on to join AbilityNet in professional roles.
