AbilityNet's vision is a digital world accessible to all - helping disabled people use tech to achieve their goals at home, at work, and in education.

We're looking for an experienced marketing manager to join AbilityNet's busy marketing team, promoting all of AbilityNet's free and paid-for services. 

We have a busy schedule of comms campaigns, targeting a huge range of different audiences, including:

  • free IT support for disabled and older people, provided by over 300 volunteers;
  • sharing a wide range of free information resources used by disabled people, charities, businesses and many others.
  • marketing our commercial services to global corporates, SMEs, universities, government services and many others;
  • promoting a busy programme of paid-for training courses relating to accessibility and workplace inclusion;
  • organising TechShare Pro, Europe's largest accessibility and inclusive design event, which this year was sponsored by Microsoft, Google, Sony and many other global brands.

The Digital Marketing Manager will work with colleagues to plan, deliver and report on campaigns which will include:

  • webinars
  • blogs
  • social media
  • website content
  • video
  • email marketing
  • and more.

About you

We are looking for someone with experience of planning and executing successful marketing campaigns and content strategies in charitable or business settings, whether B2B or B2C.

The day to day work is extremely varied and very rewarding. Almost everything we do is digital by default, so you'll be very comfortable working with websites, email, social media, blogs, videos, downloads, clickthroughs, SEO, analytics and typical digital marketing tools.

You may have knowledge and experience which relates to some or all of our services. That could be linked to personal experience of disability, for example, or working with tech businesses, or knowledge of accessibility or assistive technology.

You’ll be happy working in a small home-based team, able to manage your time effectively, balance a varied workload and juggle relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

The marketing team is home-based in Sussex, so you need to be within easy travelling distance of Brighton for team meetups (when permitted). We also have an office in London which is used for meetings with other colleagues, when permitted. And we attend various face-to-face events and conferences around the UK, when they are permitted.
