We are global leaders in accessibility and for the past three years we have run TechShare Pro, the UK's largest accessibility and inclusive design conference. This has been hosted by IBM, Barclays, Google and Microsoft in the past.

We also run the AbilityNet Tech4Good Awards and an annual IT Volunteer Conference, celebrating people who use their tech skills to help make the world a better place.

What we do

The Free Services Team currently includes a team of seven: Manager, Admin team and a Community Relationship Officer.

We provide a range of free services for disabled and older people, their family and friends, organisations and charities that support them, and other people who care for them. We do this via our network of volunteers supporting disabled and older people to help with their everyday IT, we provide a free helpline so people can ask about how technology can be adapted to meet the needs of disabled people, and we provide free factsheets, blogs, online tools and webinars about the many ways that technology can help disabled and older people.
