AbilityNet is proud to be a Disability Confident Leader, the highest level of the UK Government’s Disability Confident scheme. This recognises our ongoing commitment not only to inclusive employment within our organisation, but also to leading and influencing others to improve disability inclusion.

As a Disability Confident Leader, we go beyond meeting the standard. We actively:

  • create an inclusive workplace where disabled people can apply, succeed and progress
  • embed accessibility and inclusion into our culture, policies and everyday practice
  • use our expertise to support and challenge other organisations on their Disability Confident journey

This reflects our wider mission to create a digital world accessible to all, starting with our own workforce.

We play an active role in shaping best practice across the sector. As recognised experts in disability and technology, we:

  • provide guidance and validation to organisations seeking Disability Confident Leader status
  • share insights, tools and training to improve inclusive recruitment and workplace practices
  • champion the value that disabled people bring to organisations and society
