AbilityNet Working From Home Review - information for employees

working on a laptop on a coffee table

  • Are you fully productive when working at home?
  • Have you been asked to work at home at short notice?
  • Perhaps you are struggling with challenges you did not experience from your office base, such as communication, workstation set up, well-being, organisation and collaborative working.

AbilityNet's Working From Home Review provides a 30-minute video-based session with our professional workplace assessors. They will identify and discuss any issues that you may be experiencing and suggest a range of tips to optimise your home workspace and to work productively as part of a remote team. This will be rounded up into a report which will be sent to you after the session, and will include useful tips and helpful links.

Our assessors have advised thousands of employees over many years, both disabled and non-disabled. They can help you to discover and exploit the most suitable technology to support your work.

What can it help with?

  • This session is ideal for anyone facing challenges in being productive when working from home.
  • It will be of particular value to anyone who is disabled, whether or not this has been discussed with your employer.
  • We won’t ask you for any medical evidence, and none will be recorded during the call or featured in the report.
  • We’ll ask you for GDPR agreement to record your name and email address, plus your agreement to receive a short report featuring the recommendations arising from your consultation.
  • In addition to the provisions of our Privacy Notice, we will store this information in accordance with our Personal Data Retention Policy. You will receive a VAT invoice with your report.
