About the webinar
Did you know 1 in 37 people will be diagnosed with Parkinson's in their lifetime? Alex Barker, our Advice and Information Officer, will present this webinar and start by sharing some facts about the condition.
AbilityNet's website has a number of free expert resources about making technology easier to use for people with Parkinson's which will be shared during the webinar. This includes our blogs, Factsheets and My Computer My Way - a guide to making your device easier to use.
Alex will then demonstrate the accessibility features built into your device which allow you to slow down the mouse cursor on your computer and setup filter keys which tells the computer to ignore brief or repeated keystrokes. Advice on adjusting your mobile device will also be shared.
The webinar ends with a question and answer session with further advice and information shared.
